Production

Take your music from an idea to a fully produced and mastered recording at my studio in the San Fransisco / Bay Area. I can hook you up with drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion, backing vocals, compositional refinements, and a phat sound.

Composition

Enhance your corporate video, website, instructional audio recording, audio book, or film with just the right custom-designed sonic vibe. I've composed music for numerous world music and yoga instructional CDs and DVDs. I've co-written a plethora of material with Jai Uttal, and I often co-write songs with the artist that I'm producing.

Engineering

I have been engineering recordings since 1994. I was chief engineer at Spark Studios in Emeryville, CA for six years. I've also freelanced at Skyline Studios, Music Orange (formerly Hank Smith Music), Decibelle, Widehive, Big Hut, Bay Recorders, Catsville, Ursa Minor, and other studios all around the San Fransico / Bay Area. I've worked extensively with Digital Performer, Pro Tools, and analog tape.

Voice Over Recording

I have recorded and edited voice over for several of Leap Frog's children's products, a series of 3DO baseball video games, various commercials, corporate videos and a multitude of yoga instructional CDs and DVDs.

Mixing

I have mixed hundreds of projects over the years in a myriad of genres.

Mastering

I can offer up mastering for lower budget projects. I don't claim to be on par with those high-end mastering folks with the super phat equipment, but if you're looking for good quality mastering for a fraction of the cost I can hook you up.

Event Bands

I play in a jazz trio (piano, bass, drums) that is fantastic for corporate events, weddings, and private parties. We play the perfect combination of vibrant yet inobtrusive music. The band can be expanded to meet the musical needs of the event. Saxophone can be added for a more swinging thing, Guitar for a funkier flavor, or a vocalist for the full-on entertainment factor.
